Services at Physio Aspects
Physio Aspects provides a range of bespoke treatment programs for a wide range of injuries and diseases. Our services include general physiotherapy, sports injury treatments, post-operative rehabilitation and work related injuries. We also offer an Early Intervention Program, as well as core strengthening and sport specific programs.

General Physiotherapy
For clients who suffer from chronic diseases, sprains and accidental injuries we provide a comprehensive treatment plan customised to your specific needs. The initial goal of your treatment plan is to reduce your level of pain and once this has been achieved, we focus on increasing functionality, flexibility and strength. Depending on the cause of your debility or injury, the final goal may be to improve the quality of your life, increase your independence or help you return to your normal daily activities.

Sports Injuries
Whether you are a weekend warrior, elite athlete or just happy to kick a football around with the kids, we can help you recover from your sports related injury. Our goal is to reduce pain and maximise functionality so that you can return to your favourite sport as quickly as possible. We can also provide you with a training program that will reduce the likelihood of a repeat injury and help to maximise your sports performance.

Post-Operative Rehabilitation
Working alongside your surgeon, we help you to regain the strength, flexibility and function in the affected limb or joint. We have extensive experience developing post-operative treatment plans for clients with shoulder reconstructions, rotator cuff repairs, hip and knee replacements, ACL tears and internal fixations. Using a variety of therapies, we will have you back to your normal routine, as quickly as possible.

Work Related Injuries (Workcover)
Physio Aspects can provide physiotherapy treatments under your Workcover claim. Injuries covered by Workcover include fractures, burns, sprained muscles, torn ligaments, trapped fingers and aggravated existing injuries. If you need physiotherapy treatments for your work related injury then you will need to bring a current medical certificate and Workcover claim number with you to your first appointment. If you don’t yet have a claim number, Workcover will reimburse you for your treatment costs as soon as they approve your claim.

Early Intervention Program
Our Early Intervention Program is designed to facilitate the treatment of employee injuries, as soon as possible following the incident. Injuries left unattended can quickly progress to a more significant problem, potentially resulting in a debilitating condition that may not only impact the employee’s health, but also delay their return to work. Ensuring that your employees’ injuries are treated early helps to reduce sick leave and keep your business operating smoothly.
Exercise Programs
We provide two different exercise programs for our clients, based on their goals. These goals are to increase core strength and maximise sports performance.
Core Strengthening Program
This program is designed to control and support your spine by improving your deep core muscles. For anyone with lower back pain or back injuries, our core strengthening program is an excellent fit. That’s because poor core strength leaves your lower back open to further debilitating injuries, so it’s essential that we increase the strength of these core muscles.
These exercises will strengthen your abdominal, spinal, pelvic floor and hip muscles, all of which comprise your deep core muscles. Our exercises help to reduce pain, improve your posture and promote normal movements. They also increase the stability and flexibility of your lower back, as well as reduce muscle spasms and muscle imbalances.
Sports Specific Program
Our sports performance and injury prevention programs are tailored to your specific sports activities and your goals. Whether you play badminton once a week, jog on the weekends, kick a ball around your garden or play competitive sports, we can design a bespoke program that maximises your sports performance and minimises the likelihood of future injuries. We can help you to improve your balance, running gait, speed, motor control and endurance.
As part of your Sports Specific Program, we monitor your progress and adjust your training as your fitness level and performance progresses. This helps you to keep working towards your goals. As your physiotherapist, our aim is to help you achieve your sports goals, whether that’s to run faster, jump higher or hit more balls.
